It's Official the Baby Buckle Pad will be in it's first retail store on May 25th!

I am sooo excited that the Baby Buckle Pad will be in the 67,000 sq ft Baby Love store in Tamarac, FL outside of Miami! More baby steps with bringing the Baby Buckle Pad to market nationally. I hope the consumers love my product as much as I do.

Many moms online and offline have given me much support in my efforts to market my product to retailers. Not an easy task by any means so I learned & have been told by those who are now successful with their own products.

Next project, is to revamp my website to showcase just my Baby Buckle Pad. I am finding out good and bad advice through this long process.

I just recently registered to participate in the 2010 Las Vegas ABC Kid's Expo in October! I hope my persistence and efforts pay off. I will be sharing a booth with MarilJean Accessories to make this happen. Cross my fingers that a buyer will see my Baby Buckle Pad and MUST HAVE it in their stores...reality check - does that really happen? I can dream, can't I.

BABY BUCKLE PAD AS SEEN ON TV!

My Baby Buckle Pad was seen on Sacramento Fox TV on 2/23/10! I am always so excited when I see and hear about publicity for my invention. Here is the Link: http://www.fox40.com/videobeta/?watchId=727803b4-b5a1-4607-803c-7b5db1104ade  Hopefully, it is still up on Fox's website.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

A very Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family. Thanksgiving is a wonderful tradition to give thanks to friends, family & all who have touched your life in a positive way.

Not many people know how Thanksgiving became a holiday but thanks should be given to Sarah Josepha Hale for the annual holiday tradition. (Sarah was also the author of Mary Had a Little Lame; the children's nursery ryhme.) In 1863, after 40 years of Ms. Hale pursing our government to get a national day of thanks, President Abraham Lincoln proclaimed the last Thursday in November as a national day of Thanksgiving.

When most of us think of Thanksgiving, we think of the first Pilgrims and Indians having a wonderful feast together. The Pilgrims who almost did not survive their first winter here, were thankful for the assistance of the Indians for their knowledge of crops. Although, the Pilgrims did not call it 'Thanksgiving', it was a celebration for the success of their harvest.
